If it's any consolation, our upcoming trick or treat mode for halloween might eventually use a system where the villagers will get abilities based off of the amount of tasks they do. It's still a pretty similar problem with the blanace of power levels. I'm basically just trying to think of ways to encourage geese to actually do tasks, because I've watched (and been in) a LOT of games, and only once have I seen a Task win. Perhaps have a general rule where any Goose that finishes all their tasks gets a coin bonus? Say +10 silver per task if they're alive when they completed tasks and +3 silver per task if they're dead? You aren’t forced to win with them, but it does benefit you to keep them around because you could win faster if they survive to the end. Many roles (such as the Sheriff, Birdwatcher, and Canadian Goose) wouldn't get any bonus for completing tasks. Lover is a Duck or Goose role that will pick another player that you are tethered to in a sense. There are currently 10 maps, 29 characters, 20 pets, 5 death animations and 20 houses to choose from. The other players in the game will see your selections.
